Left to Their Own Devices: A workshop based on materials from Care for the Family

This event gives parents/carers/grandparents/teachers an understanding of the world that our children inhabit. It addresses challenges and gives practical tips on how to give support and guidance to children and young people in a world of screens.

Time out to reflect, share and enjoy an evening focusing on how we can build family traditions that focus on loving, giving and rejoicing in Christ. There will be materials and ideas to make and also to try at home. Suitable for parents/carers and grandparents of children of any age.

Love for Life: Birds and the Bees
Wednesday 4th February 2026      7:30-9:15pm 
Held in 196, Seacliff Road

Children and young people are facing huge pressure from the media and their peers when it comes to body image, self-esteem, sexual choices and risk-taking in relationships. This engaging workshop empowers parents & carers to address sensitive issues and to explore practical methods of communication as they encourage their children and young people to build strong, healthy relationships.
