While renovation work is done on our building on Seacliff Road, we are relocating to Queen’s Parade Methodist. We are so thankful to have this church to keep on meeting together in, as well as being able to continue most of our ministries and groups.
Here is all the info you need regarding our regular groups and meetings:
Sunday Mornings
Sunday services will begin at 10.30am as usual, and initially will run until 11.45am. Kids will be registered for their groups from 10.15am in the Fountain Centre before being brought into the main service for the first 2 songs. At about 10.40am the kids in the Green/Red/Purple/Blue groups will be invited to go with their leaders upstairs to the Wesley Hall (parents do not need to bring them) while parents of babies and toddlers (Yellow group) will bring their kids to the Lucas Room. When the service ends we ask parents to go straight to collect their children (all age groups).
We will not be able to livestream our services, but will be recording them for uploading onto Youtube and our website.
Sunday 15th September – 10.30am: We will be having a short time of prayer and worship at Queen’s Parade, and there will be no kids’ groups or creche running.
Sunday 22nd September – 10.30am: Our first full service at Queen’s Parade! For this first meeting the kids will stay with their parents in the church (after registration) for the first song before being brought upstairs by their group leaders.
Kids & Co
Unfortunately due to existing events held at the building, we are unable to run
Kids & Co at Queen’s Parade – we look forward to welcoming all our lovely babies,
toddlers, parents, grandparents and carers back when we return to Seacliff Road!
Friends Group
We will continue to meet as normal every other
Wednesday evening, in the Fountain Centre.
Create Space
Friday mornings wouldn’t be the same without Create Space!
This will continue every week in the Fountain Centre from 10.30am.
Community Choir
The choir will keep on singing on Fridays as scheduled,
meeting in the church itself at 11am.
Presence
Watch this space for when the first Presence will be! But when it does return
it will be in the main church sanctuary at the regular time of 7.30pm.
Handmade Christmas Market
We love hosting the Christmas Market, but this year we will be taking a break while we are out of our building. The market will return on 30th November 2025, with all your favourite creative businesses, and better access and facilities. So get it in your diary!
